There are some early plans to add scripting to the OSviewer plugin. As you perhaps already noticed, I introduce scripting where possible 
It would be nice that users could add their own OS flavours. I'm also using a framework that I developed myself decades ago and I think that many of us who are working in this field for a long time have developed their own favourite OS-ish tailormade solutions.
Maybe that nOS of yours would be a nice start project for such.
But for now, I have to focus on my daily projects so this have to wait till next year.
