Well, I also start missing it. I use GoLand in dark mode and I'm missing it now in EB. 
I started by looking how wxWidgets is handling themes.

So, who knows...

Until this feature gets done, are there some workarounds, some Themes that could be easily integrated in the existing EmBitz?
The default theme is OK for the day, but really painfull before bed time...
